Subject:Process map symbols for email in public domain? From:Rose -dot- Wilcox -at- aps -dot- com To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Fri, 26 Mar 2004 09:12:22 -0700
Hello, my departementis transitioning from using a copyrighted system
for mapping our business processes to using our own system. One of our
legal concerns is making sure that if we are using symbols or ideas on
our process maps, that we either a) have used the symbol or idea before
within our company before we used the copyrighted system, or b) we are
using something in the public domain.
We have found almost everything we need in the public domain or in our
previous maps, but one thing we haven't found is an email symbol *for
process maps* in the public domain. My co-worker did do an Internet
search for this. I thought I'd ask if anyone on the list could point me
to such a usage. We DO NOT need clip art resources; we have those. We
need examples of USAGE of the symbol on PROCESS MAPS.
Thanks in advance,
Rosie
