I remember reading about a company taking the opposite take on a warning. The product was paint or glue or something, and an issue was that teenagers were sniffing the product to get a high. A warning that this product may cause permanent skin damage or permanent facial damage was added to the product and it apparently cut down on the number of people sniffing the product. There was no proof that it caused the damage - but there was no proof that it didn't, so it _may_ cause damage, and it stopped the undesired behavior.

Heh, heh, that's a good one. Actually, after reading the warning,
any kid worth his salt would know that to get any real action,
you should use three or more bands.
