Funny, but I'd strongly recommend GoLive if you are worried more about
designing pages, including interactivity. If you need
compatability/integration with PhotoShop, Illustrator, and/or InDesign,
then GoLive's the way to go. Too, on the Macintosh OS, GoLive is easier to
use than Dreamweaver, IMO.

If you need to integrate with Macromedia platforms such as Flash and
ColdFusion, then Dreamweaver's the way to go.

If you're on a Wintel-only environment and FrontPage came with your
computer, then use it.

If you're on a Mac and adept at coding and want to just write HTML and
quickly preview, then Bare Bones Software's BBEdit is still the way to go.
If you're on a PC and want to code plain text, then either textPad,
ultraEdit, or Programmer's File Editor (see www.download.com to get these
tools) are quite nice.
