Hi, guys...anyone ever have their employer do a psych profile on them

What did it say about you? What points +/- does it bring out?
I filled one out about 10 days ago and am supposed to meet with my
manager in a couple of days to go over the results. My boss, laughing,
said he's going to send mine to the Enquirer.

Took a look at their sample report and it looks pretty much like a standard psyche test. I've never taken anything from this company. Just about the only personality tests I've taken have been online versions of Myers-Briggs. The results were essentially the same from each source I tried so I'm thinking I've been typed reliably. And actually now that I read that sample report a little more, it reads like a reworked version of Myers-Briggs results tailored to the position the "sample" employee is working in.

I'd be interested in hearing what your boss plans to do with this information. I'd also be interested in knowing why your boss couldn't just observe your working habits in order to figure it out on his own. Seems like a waste of money to me.

Either way, can you keep us posted? This whole personality-typing-for-a-job thing is really fascinating to me. :-)
