I did this:
1. Open document A.
2. Open document B.
3. Change the format of the cross-reference in A
- In the Cross-reference dialog, click Edit Format and change the format to
suit. I just added quotes around the text as a test, so now mine looks like
this: <Hyperlink>"<$paratext>"<Default P Font>
- Click Change, Done
4. Switch to document B.
5. Click File, Import Formats
6. Select the document you edited in Import From, ensure that Cross-Reference
Formats is selected, and click Import.
Mine updated straight away. Did you do something similar?
cheers
