It's interesting that while Bonnie took personal offense at a post that
singles out nobody by name, she (and John) at the same time expect that I
should take no offense at being singled out by name, publicly called a
fool, and be recommended as somebody who should be slapped.

Incidentally, I DON'T take any offense at that; I thought their remarks
were very funny. But to me it illustrates the idea that taking offense can
sometimes be a conscious CHOICE. Frankly, I shudder to think how some
participants in this thread (once again our hero avoids naming names)
might react to being called a fool, or targeted for slapping.

Bottom line: we're having a *discussion*. I suggest we all relax, don't
take everything personally, and dare to live in a world where not
everybody agrees.
