"What makes the whole thing amusing to me is that the company for which G.
works is apparently in the telecommunications business, building switches
for telcos. (nhc.com)"
yes Dan, we are a telecom company and I guess if you think about it, it's
kind of ironic yet funny but not funny..(if you know what I mean).
Even though we build switches, the work environment is very old fashioned
here. If it weren't for me, they would still be using Word instead of Frame.
The doc is all printed on hardcopy and some are pdf for certain clients..I
as a tech writer am the only person here who has a Frame licence..everyone
else is on word. So, yes, it is ironic considering we are in telecom and
should be updated with the world when it comes to teh net and new
technologies...
and guys, please dont assume next time..and yes, I will mention that I dont
have the net in the subject line so people wont get aggressive for this.
