Careful, David, the gentleperson was talking about TrademarksTM, not
copyrights. Now I haven't seen the posters in question, so I don't know if
the filmmakers or the Tolkien estate is claiming trademarks on said same,
but it would seem rather odd that one would have to put the ol' TM on every
mention of "Aragorn", no?

Isn't it *enticing* to take cheap shots at America? I freely admit we have
much that can bear criticism--but are you *sure* the copyrights are matters
of American law?
