And, if they're working in California, there is the marvelously arcane
and confusing Wage Order to deal with that requires overtime pay for
technical writers making under a certain dollar amount, further
confused by the way California calculates what exactly constitutes
overtime. Increasing productivity by increasing hours may not pay off
in the end.
