This is an interesting format. It's similar to the responses required of
many RFPs, which often demand a point-by-point discussion of how your
company (or product) fits the requirements as stated in the RFP.

All you have to do is rethink what employment ads really are: They're RFEs
(Requests For Employee) or, even more simply, RFIs (Requests for
Interviews). You're responding to it in the manner appropriate to the
request.

For someone who never, ever liked the particulars of the song-and-dance
associated with finding a job, this is a very strong letter.
