Well, Alan Cooper is god. :)

And then there's Bill Horton, JoAnn Hackos, Jakob Neilsem, Donald A. Norman,
and a few others.

I always love listening to Jared Spool, even if some claim his research
methodology is less than rigorous.

But then, if you're receiving unsolicited commerical email, why not dash off
a note directly to the speaker that a marketing campaign using spam will
turn people away.
