I don't know who said "buying credibility" but that's the reason they're doing
this. I suspect because technical writers, as a group, have a credibility
problem.

Its also part of a worldwide-plan of eternal living death slavery. Wide-open
felon Marvin C. "Billy" Gatesenheimer wants to control your thoughts and
transform all free-thinking, angelic open-source users into brainless,
drooling, Magic the Gathering playing, unemployed losers. This lowly, gangster
thug, scum-on-top will stop at nothing to strip you of your humanity and befoul
the universe with his treachery and disease.

Yawn. Get the hell back to work, you. Don't you have a deadline or something?
