Hi-Tech Company Hasn't Used Tech Writers in Years

I find George's scenario quite convincing.  I think
to myself, gee, why does Anne have to work two years
under those conditions and then write to techwr-l to
get an explanation?  Couldn't she have got the same
explanation right there at work?  But I suppose that
as George implies, the managers may consider that the
proper attitude from such as Anne is "ours not to reason 
why, ours but to jump how high?"
