You know, these worms and viruses are not a problem at all if you are running Mac OS X or Linux (I run mine behind my wireless router/firewall).

I didn't see any of these things over the weekend, but when I came to work and turned on my Win 2K box, it was full of 'em and full of Symantec's "Found a Virus" notices. 687 and climbing, they are still coming in. Our corporate firewall must be down :(

So much for Redmond's security and "Trustworthy Computing"...

Read all the other "farewell" replies. A ton of advice
has been passed along already. Basically, protect
yourself. Get Norton or McAfee antivirus software and
consider (read "get") a firewall if you use broadband.
