If so, there are quite a few of us around. Very few of the
people writing tech documents for the instruments and non-
invasive devices used in biotech/medical are grounded in
medicine or biology. When trying to fill writing positions
for instrumentation companies, I can often do more with
someone who's got experience writing service docs for laser
printers or copiers than I can with someone with a biology
degree. The dividing line between the need for people with
engineering/technical backgrounds and people with bio/med backgrounds is often the outer layer of a patient's skin.
