<<When job hunting (permanent or contract), how
much do your ethics impact your decision making?>>
I think you're using the word "ethics" when you mean "politics." When
looking at a client, I'm not worried about the CLIENT'S ethics, not mine. I
would like not to be lied to or swindled, and don't appreciate being asked
to lie to or swindle my readers.
Where their product falls politically is of little interest to me. As time
goes by, I find that less and less of what I thought I knew about highly
publicized issues was really true; that what appeared in the press was
mostly two sets of opposing lies; with the truth not in the middle, but way
off in some random direction. It's gotten to the point where I don't see
any reason to pay attention anymore.
