'Nosy' is such a mean little word.

But I guess you could call me that. I prefer 'interested' and 'proactive' and 'communicative' though. If I see a document on the printer or on someone's desk that could be useful, I ask the person about it. ("This looks great, could I get a copy?" vs. "Why haven't I seen this yet? Blah, blah, blah.") Often, an interesting conversation takes place as a result and we end up trading all kinds of information.

If something is clearly personal, I leave it alone.

And, yes, I prefer being around others as well. I was given an office, but hated the isolation and moved back.
