An excellent hint from Bonnie Granat. I used to do something similar. I
would ask for electronic versions (if possible) BEFORE the interview.

This gave me plenty of "pre-interview" time to give their samples the
time they deserve to properly review them. It also allowed me to come up
with some intelligent questions about the document, which led to some
great exchanges.

Obviously if this was not possible, I rolled with the punches. No harm,
no foul.
