I have experience with reviewing business cases. The person who wrote the document lead the team through sections. Someone was assigned as the script and took notes on a laptop connected to a projector so that everyone could see and tell if something important was missing. It also helped not to come back to things that were already written.

Hope this help

Hi all!

In aprox. 1 hr, I am meeting with 12 engineers in one room to review one
document (34 page Engineering Spec.). They'll be depending upon me to pick a
process for reviewing.

Do you have a preference for reviewing documents in this type of setting
(i.e.,all together in one room)?

1. Review all together while I hand write my notes, then take their redlines
after the meeting and incorporate all together?

2. Input all changes on a laptop while they talk? (I like this idea, but
this could be timeconsuming - we only have 1 1/2 hour time slot)

3. Other?

HELP! It could be informal, but in my experience, I've usually received
redlines in person or e-copies one at a time - not 12 at a time!

Thanks so much for any feedback. Happy Friday to everyone!

Chris
