There are successful Theory X companies (Andrew's model)--and unsuccessful ones. There are successful Theory Y companies (the opposing viewpoint about the relationship between employees and employers)--and unsuccessful ones. What separates the successful from the unsuccessful ones is some combination of vision, talent, and luck. Past performance is not a guarantee of future results. YMMV. One size fits most. Is it Friday yet?
