Two courses: Deductive Reasoning and Inductive Reasoning (from my brief
career as a Philosophy major). Then, a bunch of related books, especially
Mortimer Adler's _Ten Philosophical Mistakes_ and _How to Read a Book_.

A good, stiff dose of Aristotelianism does wonders for your critical
thinking and problem-solving skills. :-)
