Considering that when I graduated college the smallest
computer available was the size of a VW beetle, I'd have
to pick the semester-long course in basic manufacturing
processes, because most of the techniques we learned how to
design for and do hands-on are still in common use today.
Most every other skill I use today I learned OTJ over the
next serveral decades as the technology to do them was
developed.

So I'll ask the group: What single course proved to be most useful in your
technical writing work? For me, it was a course in Technical Illustration,
which gave me a lot of skills I never would have picked up any other way.
