I hope I did not offend you in the off-list note I sent this morning. If I did, I am publicly apologizing.

As others have noted, this is definitely a working list. Most of us don't have a lot of time to spend reading messages or sending long replies, so sometimes our responses may seem short or "curt".

I've learned a lot from this list, and am glad it is here. As a lone writer, I need the sanity (or insanity) of this list.

Check the archives. We really do get silly on Friday.
