Right now, I'm work in a strictly R&D environment that consists of 12 guys and me. The guys all wear jeans/sweats/shorts depending on the season. They wouldn't notice if I wore pajamas to work, and quite frankly, I'm fond of "loungeware" -- loose fitting rayon slacks and tunics, that kind of stuff. I also really like to wear casual (usually mid-calf or longer) dresses, especially in the summer, because they're comfortable. And I usually manage to wear jeans at least a week. But I'm a self-confessed clothes horse, so you can't go by me! ;-) (today it's denim slacks & tunic decorated with swirls of rivets and white canvas flats)

And BTW -- on the bitchy/flirty question... I was talking with a collegue once ( a couple of years ago) who was recommending to his (remote) boss that I take over some of his responsibilities when he left for greener pastures. He said, "I told him you were a real battle-ax!" Then, when he saw the look on my face, qualified the remark with, "and I mean that in the most complementary way!" %-\
