There's a difference between learning how much you can do in 8 hours and not
bite off more, and knowing how to get 9 hours worth of work done in 8 hours,
but then take on a couple hours more.

Example...I'm documenting SQL databases right now. I know how much I can do
each day and my manager is pleased with the amount. What do I do? I go to
the manager of the SQL department and ask him what more he would like in the
docs. I go to our data warehousing manager and ask him what HE wants to have
covered in the docs.

I don't work an average of 48 hours per week because I cannot get 40 hours
done..I work an average of 48 because I can, my hours are never questioned
(my boss presigns 4 blank agency time sheets at the beginning of each month
because he doesn't want to be bothered every Friday), I get paid for it, and
the extra time allows me to include dimensions in my documentation that were
never in the scope.
