Hello TECHWR-Listers,

As mentioned in the previous post on this topic (entitled QUERY: translation
speed statistics - part 1) , the reason for my request for statistics on
translation speed is to conduct an experiment on Machine Translation (MT)
postediting (PE) speed by comparing it with existing translation statistics
on traditional human translation speed.

The results of my experiment will be published as a sequel article to the
following published works:

ALLEN, Jeff. (in press). Post-editing. Chapter 16. In Computers and
Translation: A Handbook for Translators. Edited by Harold Somers.
Amsterdam: John Benjamins.

Many thanks in advance for your assistance in helping me find translation
speed statistics.
