RE: alternative to the word module

Tasks? I would never in my mind associate a piece of an application with
"task". I might be using an administrator module of an application to
perform a wide variety of tasks, some that I can do in perhaps a user module
as well. 

I don't understand why a module can't be a module. What are we trying to
protect the readers from?
