I personally have given up TW for the time being, after looking for a
year. If you know pharmaceuticals or chemistry, you're set to work in
NJ. Otherwise, it's a struggle. I haven't been searching for over a
month, but I can't imagine any other industries have been revitalized
yet.
Look for jobs in the periphery. I'm doing freelance work editing a quick
reference guide right now. Plus I just started a full-time job (back at
entry-level, but I'm over the bitterness) as an assistant editor at a
good company. It has its hands in many things, so I might be able to get
back into TW later on.
I hope this helps. Good luck.
