OK, so let's say the Third Writers' Battalion is ordered to take the
hill. Their officer - let's call him Lieutenant Smee - is holding vital
information about the hill, but he doesn't return their urgent calls,
and he really doesn't like to associate with enlisted men anyway. And
HQ has told the Writers to "Stop bugging the officers with questions
about where the enemy is!"
The troops may or may not take the hill. But either way, the survivors
will probably have a word or two behind the barracks with Lt. Smee.
Ahhh, I have to take a break from CNN for a while.
