I think you might mean you have a modular system. Each
application could be a module, and each module can
connect to another module.
What type of software is this? Maybe take a look at
your competitors' web sites and see what they call
their products.

combined (or not) depending
on the customer's need. Each of these apps have the
option to also share
information with the others.
I know there's a term for this type of interconnected
component system, but
can't for the life of me think of what it is.
