You might want to try using a font created to display the Maori language,
as it uses macrons. The following page has Maori fonts for download:

Also, if you need to use macrons in web pages, check out the "UTF-8
macrons for the web" section at http://www.dream-it.co.nz/.

I have a very simple question that has so far stumped me:

Does anyone know how to create a macron in Framemaker? A macron is the
flat bar across a vowel that indicates that it should be pronounced as a
"long" vowel.

I can see how to do it in Word, through the Insert Symbol menu, but it
doesn't seem to exist in the Framemaker help. And cutting and pasting from
Word doesn't work.

Any ideas?
