This is related to the subject of this thread, but turns it around, meaning technically true but perceptually wrong. My daughter recently got a toy (a little bug creature that spins around and does a "simon Says" kind of routine. I read the instructions on how to use it, mostly because they were short and I was curious. Anyway, at the end of the instructions (which were bulleted, ick) there was a note that said "When finished, ensure the On/Off switch is placed in the Off position." or something like that. Why couldn't they just say, Be sure to turn it off when you're done playing with it???
