Why JPEGs? There are two reasons: 1) Lack of understanding what LOSSY
compression is. 2) Despite LOSSY compression, it works.

For photos, JPEGs are fine, IMHO. For screen captures, they are not.
However, if somebody has JPEG screen captures, and they like them, then
why not? Maybe JPEGS that are never resaved and have the best quality do
work for some. PNG or BMP work just fine for me.
