Well, I like the muffins and coffee that are served whenever I read the list. It's
gourmet coffee, and the muffins are baked fresh daily (almost).

I like the archives, both for their information and for their entertainment value.
There's nothing quite like reading posts that are several years old from a poster
who is still active on the list and seeing how they have evolved or devolved.

I like the web site and the resources. We have a slogan in our writing group: "If we
don't write it, you don't need to read it." Okay, that's facetious, but I keep
finding that whenever I have a question that starts with, "Where to I go to
learn...?" I can invariably find a starting point on the TECHWR-L site. If it ain't
there, you probably don't need to know it to do the writing part of your job.

Finally, I like the fact that everybody hasn't filtered out my emails to the list
yet. <g>
