I hate that style. It's backward-looking, and useless.
I thought we were all past this.

Also, burying the instructions in an ordinary
paragraph makes it very hard for the user to find what
they need to do the job! Life is hard enough. Don't
make it a scavenger hunt as well.

A few years ago I started a new job where that was the
"house style" more by default than that anyone had
decided that was the best way to write procedures. I
changed it.
