In a hypothetical application, if I type the letter S to save the file, then the information that I type ("S") does not appear on the screen. If I type my name and the screen then displays my name in a text box, then the information that I type appears on the screen. Microsoft should have written: "Use type, not type in or enter, if the information that the user types appears on the screen."
