Some months ago, I posted a message asking for the names of recruiters and
agencies to contact in the general Philadelphia, PA, area. Several of you were
kind enough to respond.

I contacted each of the recruiters mentioned. They gradually responded one by
one. I finally heard from all of them. Basically, each has said they have had
few job orders to fill in technical writing; none for those of us switching
careers; none for anyone with my qualifications.

So, is the economy improving? Not from what I've experienced, it isn't.
