Ugh. Does anyone really include an objective anymore? And if so, what's a good reason?

I just wrote a soon-to-be-published article for an online magazine. The article is titled, "Resumes for a New Millenium."

In my article, I propose that the objective section of the resume is outdated, and a summary of skills(I never thought about a slogan...) should be included instead.

So, maybe my little article will become a standard for the future.
