OTOH, she needed to show, even if it was for herself, that she could stand
up to them as equals. They were pretty abusive to her and when you're close
to tears and when retribution is handed to you, it's pretty hard to keep
everything you SHOULD do in in front of you. I don't know that I wouldn't
have done the same. If she regrets it later, well, that's all part of the
learning process too, but at least for now, she can walk by them in the hall
way and look them in the eye. Sometimes, isn't that worth everything?

co-workers. Even if they really do deserve it.

I would have omitted her last two sentences. Who knows - someday she might
need those guys for something. But since she has now castigated them
publicly and been rude in the process, if something ever IS her fault, I'm
sure they have their ways of making people stand up and take notice of such
a fact.
