I want to learn JavaScript so I can add some mouseover events to a web page
within our application. During the past 10 days, I have been trying to learn
some basic JavaScript using online tutorials. I have been through dozens of
tutorials and web sites. Some tutorials have helped me a little, but I have
not found what I am looking for. I want to try a book.
I purchased the Oreilly JavaScript, the Definitive Guide, 4th ed., but that
is pretty much just reference with few examples. I currently have only a
basic knowledge of JavaScript. One web site advertised a book titled Teach
Yourself JavaScript in a Week by Arman Danesh.
Has anyone used this book? Can you comment if you found it useful?
Can you recommend another book to teach myself javascript?
