I document virtual private networks - how to set up, configure, manage, and
troubleshoot them. In essence, this is a network security feature. My basic
role within the department, other than writing, involves tools , analysis,
and problem solving. Currently, I'm in the midst of describing SNMP traps.
Among the things I like about the job are the variety and the
"puzzle-solving" aspects of it. And TECHWR-L is a valuable resource. I've
learned to spot and avoid the "either-or" threads, for the most part.
