You are using the wrong printer to create your PDF. Check the Adobe User
to User forums for more info, but you ought include Distiller,
FrameMaker, OS, and printer driver info. and version number when you ask
such things.

What you need to do is make sure you are using the Distiller printer via
File > Print (not Save as) to create your PostScript and make sure that
the Distiller printer is using the Distiller PPD (Adist4.ppd, for
example)--that info is available in your printer properties.

Cheers,

Sean

Folks,

When I save as PDF, everything is converted to black
and white, including screenshots and link text.

How do I turn this off?

What am I overlooking?
