How do I make one form field in a Word form dependent on another?

For example I have an agenda form. I've included a dropdown with all the available in-house meeting rooms listed. I want to include an option "off site" and then have a free-text field become available if, and only if, "off site" is selected from the dropdown.

Is this something I'll have to script into the VBA editor? I'm comfortable, but not experienced, with using the editor.

TIA
