and many other suggestions.
One suggestion I haven't seen yet is a quick-reference
card--one of those things that users can fold into
triangles and stand in front of their keyboards. One
face of it should have a drawing of the mouse and
depictions of the actions that happen if you click,
double click, etc. each button. Perhaps another face
could have a representation of any special key
combinations and keyboard shortcuts (ie. a picture of
the F1 key linked to "help"). The third face could
have a reference of the most frequently needed
functions.
That is merely off the top of my head (along with a
little hair and some dust from the overhead heater
vent). I do think a card with a picture of the mouse
and the actions caused by the left and right buttons
could be helpful.
