I'm preparing a Release Notes document for a software product and I'm using
Microsoft Word XP (2002) as the authoring tool. Inside the document, I use hyperlinks in several places. When I convert the
.doc document into PDF document and open such converted document in Acrobat
Reader, mail and www links are normally visible, but are disfunctional. Why
is that?

Can you say exactly how they are dysfunctional? Do you get error messages? When you examine one of the bad links with the link tool in Acrobat, does the link look okay? Are the links dysfunctional on other machines, or only on yours?
