Subject:looking for a tool... From:Matthew Horn <mhorn -at- macromedia -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Fri, 18 Oct 2002 11:03:24 -0400
I am hoping you can help... I am looking for a tool that harvests web pages and pulls together multiple pages into a single file to create a "booklet" that can be easily printed.
I recognize a need for this kind of tool often, especially when I want to print a tutorial or long article, and the author/publisher does not include a "print this article" kind of link.
For anyone who has been around a while, Hewlett Packard made such an application in the mid- to late-90's, but I can't find reference to it anywhere. This HP application built tables of contents, added headers/footers, and customized the link-depth that the tool would import into the document. Very cool, but apparently, very defunct.
Any help appreciated.
