If your users are pretty tech-savvy and you have the tools available, some
sort of on-line help system would probably be the best. However, if you are
dealing with users that still get some comfort from having paper documents
to refer to, I would go with a "job aid." This will get them to the right
places to perform whatever functions they need to. In either case, though,
I would invest some time in making sure that the screens and the entire
application are as self-explanatory as possible.
