okay, so I'm still participating. <grin />

I don't see that happening any time soon, because when it comes right down to it, there are a LOT of things that go into speaking and writing that will simply take a long time to replicate in a software program. Humans are still better than computers in most cases simply because _most_ humans can think creatively, see connections and improvise in a way that computers can't. Computers are rigid thinkers....most humans aren't. That gives humans the advantage. I'm not saying that creative thinking can't be programmed, humans are biological after all, and there is some structure to the brains that I'm sure will be replicated in a program sooner or later. But that seems to be decades away and well outside of my working life at least. :-)
