All systems have the exact same security potential. All can be hacked, all can be
secured. It just depends on what you do to them.

If a Windows box is put on a network and is never hacked, does that mean it is
insecure? If it is vulnerable to 3 threats out of 250 and a Linux box is
vulnerable to 2 out of 250, is the Linux box "more secure?" What if the 3 windows
ones are extremely hard to do, but the Linux ones are easy? What if a Windows box
is firewalled and IDSs but the Linux box isn't? Or vice versa?

Again - you are searching for absolutes in a world with no absolutes. Why do you
think I love security so much. Its the eternally fluid project. Quantum IT - you
can never measure security without fundamentally affecting that security.
