Re: Linux users who like Windows
Is there some point of tangency between the Linux OS world and the Web Services--Java/J2EE--.NET world? In other words, if one writes software that plays nice in the latter universe, will it be able to run transparently on Linux-based systems? Or am I asking a nonsensical apples-and-oranges question?
I'm not an expert, but IBM especially has been doing a lot of work with Java/J2EE and Linux. There's also a Linux version of .NET called Mono in development at a company called Ximian.
